Only 200 yards from Forss House, the River Forss offers excellent sport dependent upon water levels. In 2001 the dam at Loch Shurrery was automated to improve the regularity of water flow and this, it is expected, will benefit the fishing. There are four 2 rod beats and fishing is very reasonably priced. The cocktail bar hosts an impressive carving of a 42lb fish caught at the foot of the garden, the heaviest this millennium standing at 25lbs.
