Dining and Activities at Forss House

With Spring comes longer days that stretch into never ending daylight as the Solstice approaches. Time to explore the coastline, rivers & loch’s of the mainland and take a ferry ride to the Orkneys to sample some island life. The plants are very different to a few months earlier, the colours even brighter and the wildlife very busy. Fishermen filled with hope emerge on the rivers, lochs and deep sea charter boats.

The links courses call the faithful to dust off their clubs and while the historic houses throw open their doors to visitors curious to see how life once was for the few the archeological sites, heritage centres and museums offer a glimpse of life for the many in Caithness. The Dining Room at Forss will play host once more to the best the local estates, rivers and coastline can offer while the near 300 malts in the bar ask to be sampled. The evenings are long, so plenty of time to walk and explore long after some have gone to bed.
