We're incredibly proud that Forss House Hotel's restaurant has a reputation as one of the finest in the North and is the only AA Two Rosette establishment in Caithness. 

From melt-in-the-mouth canapes to our one-of-a-kind tasting menu, every inch of our menu has been thoughtfully designed to capture all the finest ingredients around Thurso. Using local produce from neighbouring estates and the sea around us, we present exquisite dishes to suit every palette. 

Bookings are welcome from non-residents. Everyone deserves to experience the tantalising taste of the Forss House Hotel restaurant. 

St Andrew's Day Tasting Menu

Join us on the 30 November to celebrate St Andrew’s Day. Our chefs have created a new seven-course tasting menu to showcase some of Scotland’s finest ingredients, and the price includes a wine pairing to accompany each dish. You can see the full menu below.

And in true Scottish style, each guest will receive a glass of local house whisky as a post-dinner treat.

Booking is essential (excluding breakfast). Dog-friendly dining is available – waggy-tailed friends are welcome to dine with you in the conservatory. Room service is available during breakfast service (£5.00 tray charge applies). Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free substitutes are available, but we ask that you notify the restaurant when you make your reservation. Failure to do so may lead to a lack of suitable alternatives.
